Day 1
Welcome Aboard! Join us for a fun-filled get-away full of spectacular scenery, holiday cheer and yuletide spirit in the mountains of Asheville, North Carolina. Before checking into the Holiday Inn Express & Suites, our hotel for the next two nights, we conclude our travel day with a delicious dinner at a local restaurant. Our accommodations are set amidst spectacular mountain views! (D)
Day 2
After a deluxe continental breakfast we depart for the legendary Biltmore Estate for a day of sightseeing. The Biltmore Estate is the largest privately owned home in America. Highlights of the Biltmore Estate tour include access to the George Vanderbilt’s French chateau style mansion, its formal gardens, and the estate’s winery where you will be treated to a wine tasting. A delicious buffet luncheon is included at Biltmore’s Deerpark Restaurant. In the afternoon we return to our hotel where you will have time to relax and freshen up before enjoying tonight’s special event. We return to the Biltmore Estate this evening to take part in a magical holiday celebration, Christmas at the Biltmore Estate by glow of candlelight. Experience the spectacular recreation of a 19th-century Christmas at George Vanderbilt’s 250-room French chateau. The mansion will be decorated with more than 35 magnificent trees to view and the sound of singing choirs and chamber music will fill the air. We conclude our gala evening with a delicious holiday dinner served at Biltmore’s Stable Café. (B, L, D)
Day 3
After a deluxe continental breakfast we depart for home taking with us many pleasant memories of a wonderful get-away to the mountains full of yuletide spirit, music and holiday cheer! Happy Holidays! (B)
