Since our founding in 1989, Gunther
Charters has grown to be one of the Middle
Atlantic's leading motor coach companies. We now
operate fourteen
2008 and 2009 year Vanhool Motorcoaches, one
2009 Vanhool Motorcoaches that is equipped to
accommodate 2 wheelchairs, and 3 2000 model year
Executive Motorcoaches.
Gunther Charters is fully licensed
and insured to provide transportation. My company
holds the appropriate interstate license from
the Federal Highway Administration (formerly the
Interstate Commerce Commission) and in-state license
from the Maryland Public Service Commission. We
are fully regulated for safety by the U.S. Department
of Transportation: we hold the highest possible
safety rating.
As a federally regulated carrier,
Gunther Charters maintains $5 million of liability
insurance coverage. At your request we would be
more than happy to provide you with a Certificate
of Insurance at the time of your reservation.
As a privately owned company, we
are small enough to assure the provision of the
most responsive possible transportation. We are
certain you are a demanding charter customer,
but we can assure you that a busload of people
on a chartered vacation are no less demanding
than your group would be. Since we are a small
company we are on the front line. We know how
upset people become when their trip is ruined
because of poor bus service. From my experience,
Gunther Charters has constantly improved its service
so these things do not happen.
