variety show at The Pennsylvania Opry featuring “The Country Gospel

And what is a variety Christmas show without some well placed comic relief to
provide you with a healthy dose of laughter. The Pennsylvania Opry is presented
at the Star Theatre in historic Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, the
birthplace of our nation’s 15th President James Buchanan. The
restored Star Theatre, was originally built in 1911, and claims the distinction
of being the location of Jimmy Stewart’s only performance onstage while in high
school. Before the show, enjoy a delicious buffet luncheon at the
Mountain Gate Family Restaurant in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
