Today we travel to the Lehigh Valley of
Pennsylvania to join Elisabeth von Trapp in concert at the
Steelstacks Center. The granddaughter of the legendary Maria and Baron
von Trapp of “The Sound of Music” fame, Elisabeth von Trapp
will take you on a musical journey from Bach to Broadway and Schubert to
Sting, including performances of some of the most beloved holiday classics of
all time. Listeners have likened Elisabeth to Judy Collins and Loreena
McKennitt. Critics have called her voice . . . “hauntingly clear,” “joyfully
expressive” and “simply beautiful.” With equal ease and eloquence
she sings classic selections from the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s songbook like
“Favorite Things” and “Edelweiss,” soaring gospel tunes, pop
classics, and her stunning original compositions. A delicious lunch is
included at the Steelstacks Center. After the show we will visit
Christkindlmarkt, one of the nations best holiday markets. The market
features aisles of exquisite handmade holiday creations made by some of the
nation’s finest artisans, the heart-warming sounds of live holiday music,
authentic German and Austrian food for you to enjoy and much, much more. Fast
food stops will be made both en route to Bethlehem, and on the return trip
