Spooky Tales & Rails

Middletown, PA

For a day of Halloween tricks and treats we travel to the Dauphin County, Pennsylvania area located on the Susquehanna River.  First we board the Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad for a scenic train ride through the Swatara Creek Valley area.  The train’s conductor will provide narration along the route describing both the folklore and history of the area.  Next we enjoy a delicious lunch at Alfred’s Victorian Restaurant, an historic 1800’s Victorian mansion that is listed on the National Registry.  Please provide a meal choice when making your reservations.  Your choices are Chicken Salad Wrap or Pasta Marinara.  Sit back and relax and be entertained during lunch as you listen to a local medium and paranormal expert who will tell you about things that go bump in the night at Alfred’s Victorian Restaurant.  You’ll hear about Emma, the mansion’s ghost, as well as other local hauntings, plus learn about spirit communication before departing for home.  Happy Halloween!

Note:  Both the dining room and restrooms are located on the second floor of Alfred’s Victorian Restaurant.  The ability to climb stairs is required!
