Today we will visit three very different mansions
along the historic Delaware River while enjoying a Progressive Luncheon.
Three centuries of architecture and lifestyles come to life as you tour these
mansions. Your tour will take you on a guided tour of the Grundy
Museum and Mansion in Bristol, Pennsylvania, a self-guided
tour of Pen Ryn Mansion in Bensalem, Pennsylvania and a
guided tour through Glen Foerd, located along the Delaware River in
neighboring northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Family stories and
historical tidbits from your local guide, plus period furnishings and
collections will make each stop unique. A leisurely and delicious luncheon
will be served in 4 courses at 2 of the mansions making this a day to
remember! There will be no rest stops made both en route to Bucks County, or on
the return trip home.
