Today we travel across the Chesapeake Bay to
Maryland’s Eastern Shore to Ocean City, one of the east coasts finest
family resorts. Upon our arrival you will have some free time to stroll and
explore the numerous shops, arcades and restaurants that line Ocean City’s
famous three-mile boardwalk. Later we meet our step-on guide, and
depart for AssateagueIsland. We will learn the rich history of
the world famous wild ponies of Assateague Island which still roam the island
today, and are the descendents of domesticated animals brought to the barrier
island over 300 years ago. Fast food stops will be made both en route to Ocean
City and on the return trip home.
