Hickory Bridge Farm & Land of Little Horses

Today we visit two special shops at Hickory Bridge Farm.  In addition to serving fine food, the farm’s restaurant has a lovely gift shop that features a variety of cards, candles, and plush animals.  Located directly behind the restaurant, is The Country Store, a wonderful museum of store items from the past.  The store offers a selection of old fashioned candies, and variety of food products made in their own kitchen.  A delicious family style luncheon is included at the restaurant.  Following our luncheon we depart for a short ride to the Land of Little Horses Farm Park in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.  First we will get up close and personal with the famous namesake miniature horses and their farm animal friends.  Learn about the history of the park, its inhabitants, and have the opportunity to pet them.  Later enjoy an entertaining show full of talented, fun-loving animal stars inside an air-conditioned arena.  Bring your camera for some spectacular photo opportunities!
