We invite you to come and enjoy a Branson-Style
variety show at The Pennsylvania Opry featuring a special tribute to “The King”, Elvis Presley. This production also includes dazzling
performances by professional musicians, instrumentalists and vocalists. A
variety of your favorite songs will be performed in a mix of musical styles
including country, patriotic, gospel, and cowboy songs from the movies. And
what is a variety show without some well placed comic relief to provide you with
a healthy dose of laughter. The Pennsylvania Opry is presented at the Star
Theatre in historic Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, the birthplace of our
nation’s 15th President James Buchanan. The restored Star Theatre,
was originally built in 1911, and claims the distinction of being the location
of Jimmy Stewart’s only performance onstage while in high school. Before the
show, enjoy a delicious buffet luncheon at the Mountain Gate Family
Restaurant in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania.
