Day 1:
Welcome Aboard! Travel in comfort aboard our
deluxe motor coach through the lush green landscape of New York state to
Montreal, Canada, the second largest French-speaking city in the world.
After checking into the Hotel Auberge Universel for the night, we are
treated to a delicious dinner at the hotel. Our hotel is conveniently
located across the street from the Olympic Stadium and just a few minutes from
downtown Montreal. Bring your bathing suit and enjoy the indoor heated swimming
pool. (D)
Day 2:
After a buffet breakfast we meet our
step-on guide, and depart for a narrated sightseeing tour of Montreal.
The tour will include both historic and modern sites, and admission to
Montreal’s famous Notre Dame Basilica, which is a replica of the one in
France complete with its ornate alters and statues. Next we will have some
leisure time to explore Place Jacques Cartier in the Old Port for
shopping and lunch on your own. Later we depart for North
America’s oldest mountain chain, the Laurentian Mountains. Upon arriving
we check into the Homewood Suites by Hilton, for the next two
nights. Our hotel is located in the heart of the Alpine Village of
Tremblants pedestrian resort of Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada. Tonight,
dinner is included at one of the fine restaurants in the village. (B,

Day 3:
After a buffet breakfast we meet our
tour guide, and depart for a walking tour of the Pedestrian
Village to acquaint you with all the shops, restaurants, lifts, gondolas and
shuttles. Our hotel is located at the top of the village, (so you will have to
walk to the bottom), where we will board our deluxe motor coach for a
narrated driving tour of the region with our tour guide. Later we board the
Lac Mont Tremblant for a narrated boat cruise on a pristine
mountain lake. Next we board the Panoramic Gondola. We’ll ride to the
top of Mon-Tremblant for a spectacular panoramic view of the village and lake.
Upon returning to our hotel you will have time to sit back, relax and enjoy
light refreshments and non-alcoholic beverages. At your leisure
enjoy dinner on your own at one of the restaurants in the
village. (B)
Day 4:
After a buffet breakfast settle back,
relax and enjoy the scenery on our drive to the beautiful capital of Canada,
Ottawa. Upon arriving enjoy lunch on your own at the
Byward Market, one of Canada’s oldest and largest public markets. Following
lunch, we meet our step-on guide, and depart for a narrated
sightseeing tour of Ottawa. Learn about Canada’s Capitol city, it’s
culture, and it’s government on our tour. Admission and a tour of the
Parliament Building is included. After checking into the Residence Inn
by Marriott for the night, we conclude our day with a delicious
dinner in downtown Ottawa, followed by a “Sound and Light Show” on
Parliament Hill (weather permitting). (B, D)
Day 5:
After a buffet breakfast we depart for
home with fond memories of a delightful tour of two of Canada’s most exciting
cities and North America’s oldest mountain chain, the Laurentian Mountains.
