National Cathedral Flower Mart

The National Cathedral Flower Mart is Washington, D.C.’s annual outdoor festival for garden enthusiasts and families.  The Flower Mart features annuals, perennials, landscape exhibits, Olmsted Woods and Garden Tours.  The Flower Mart encircles Washington National Cathedral with its tents and includes more than 50 booths offering gardening items, handbags, jewelry, and much, much more!  Food vendors will be stationed throughout the grounds offering a wide variety of foods including Asian specialties, pizza, BBQ, Southern cuisine, lobster rolls, baked goods and more!  Each year one of Washington’s Embassies is honored.  Following our visit here we conclude our day with a drive around our nation’s capital to view the Monuments and Memorials.  Note:  Photo-stops will be allowed if the traffic and weather conditions permit.
