Amish Country & Shady Maple

Today venture out onto the “Roads Less Traveled” through the heart of the Amish Farmlands.  Enjoy picturesque scenery as your motor coach tour meander across country roads, where time seems to stand still, see pristine Amish farms, one-room schoolhouses, windwheels, Amish “phone booths”, and Amish farmers working the fields with their horse or mule-drawn plows.  We stop at an Amish farm and visit an Amish Quilt & Craft Shop.  Here you will have the opportunity to meet the Amish in person while browsing through a colorful array of exquisite handmade quilts and unique country crafts, and a “Country Surprise” awaits you somewhere along the way.  Following our tour, a delicious smorgasbord lunch is included at Shady Maple Smorgasbord and a visit to the mega gift shop. Shady Maple Gift Shop has over 20,000 square feet of unique gift items, collectibles, dolls, Fenton Glassware, accessories, Amish crafted oak furniture, baskets, and the list goes on.
