Arlington National Cemetery

& Lunch at Carmine’s Restaurant

Arlington, VA & Washington, D.C.

Today we travel to the wooded hills of Arlington, Virginia and Arlington National Cemetery.  A tram tour will highlight our nation’s history and remember the American patriots, both humble and well-known, whose final resting place is in this sacred ground.  Your narrator will relate accounts of heroism and personal sacrifice as you ride to important sites, including the Kennedy Gravesites and the Tomb of the Unknowns (Changing of the Guard).  After our tour, enjoy a delicious family style lunch at Carmine’s Restaurant, a legendary New York City family style Italian restaurant now located in our nation’s capitol.  Following our lunch here we conclude our day with a drive around our nation’s capital to view the Monuments and Memorials.  Note:  Photo-stops will be allowed if the traffic and weather conditions permit.
