Welcome to Maryanne’s Tea Room in the
quaint town of Taneytown, Maryland for a “Full Afternoon Tea
Luncheon.” Relax, enjoy the fine service and indulge yourself in the
pleasures of an exquisite seven course tea luncheon with friends or
family. Start your afternoon tea by making a selection from a choice of 100
gourmet, imported teas. In addition to brewed tea of your choice, a delicious
tea luncheon is served. Your menu will consist of chef’s choice of homemade
soup, fresh mixed green salad with our own house dressing, topped with plump
dried cranberries (yum), scone and toppings, fresh seasonal fruit, assorted
cheese and crackers, 4 savories, desserts and sorbet. Later there will be time
to leisurely shop in the gift shop which has a variety of unique gifts, and
includes a special selection of Red Hat merchandise. En route home we will make
a stop at Baugher’s Farm Market. Note: This day trip has a
maximum group size of 44 passengers!
