The U.S. Army Band Holiday Festival Washington, D.C.
Celebrate the holiday season with delicious food and the
sounds of the season. We begin our holiday celebration by enjoying a delicious
luncheon at Nick’s Riverside Grille, a lovely Georgetown
waterfront restaurant with spectacular views of the Potomac River, Kennedy
Center, Washington Monument, Roosevelt Island, and the Key Bridge. After lunch
we depart for the DAR Constitution Center where we will have seating for
The United States Army Band’s “A Holiday Festival” concert. The
concert features The U.S. Army Orchestra, The U.S. Army Chorus, and vocalists
from The U.S. Army Band Downrange. Due to popular demand, this year’s “A Holiday
Festival” concert will also feature the world-class musicians of “Pershing’s
Own”. Finally, we conclude our celebration of the holiday season with a visit to
the Symphony of Lights, a drive through Christmas light display on the
grounds of Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. The
Symphony of Lights is a spectacular display of more than 75 animated and
stationary holiday lights. Lunch is included, so please provide a meal choice
when making your reservations. Your choices are Broiled Seafood Platter
(Shrimp, Scallops, Tilapia and a Crab Cake), Broiled Salmon Filet, Maryland Crab
Cakes or New York Strip Steak. Happy Holidays!
