Day 1: Welcome Aboard! Cape May is at its holiday best when it’s decked out for the Christmas season with bright twinkling lights, fragrant evergreen wreaths and garland, red bows and sparkling ornaments. Join us for a fun-filled get-away full of spectacular scenery, holiday cheer and yuletide spirit in Cape May, New Jersey. Upon our arrival we will visit the Washington Street Mall. A delightful holiday atmosphere will surround you, as you browse the many festively decorated shops, and discover unique holiday gifts for your love ones back at home. After checking into our hotel for the night, we are treated to a delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. This evening we board an old fashion trolley, (with heat), and ride through Cape May’s picturesque streets splendidly decorated for the holidays. Our guide will entertain and enlighten us about a Victorian Christmas and its traditions.

Day 2: After a buffet breakfast we meet our guide, and board an old fashion trolley, (with heat), for a narrated driving tour of Victorian Cape May. Highlights of our tour include driving pass the many cultural, historical, and natural attractions on the island. Then it’s on to the Physick Estate where we will step back in time to an era of Victorian opulence and experience the feeling of a 1890’s Christmas. Next enjoy a tour of Cape May’s only Victorian House Museum which emphasizes Victorian Christmas traditions and decorating. Following our tour enjoy a delicious tea luncheon served in the traditional elegant manner of the Victorians, and includes tasty tea sandwiches, scones, tea breads, soups and salads, and more. Later we depart for Atlantic City, New Jersey, the exciting “Playground of the East.” Our accommodations for the night are at the Tropicana Casino & Resort with its oceanfront location. Tonight enjoy a delicious buffet dinner, followed by an evening of holiday entertainment at the Tropicana Showroom, a Broadway-style theatre.

Day 3: Enjoy a buffet breakfast at your leisure for the day is yours to do as you wish. Take a chance and test your luck, roll the dice, and enjoy the excitement of gaming at the casino which offers you over 3,800 slot machines and all of the best table games to choose from. If great shopping and dining appeal to you then visit the Tropicana’s Marketplace and the Quarter, which offers both dining and shopping. We return home with many pleasant memories of a Victorian Christmas get-away, and the thrill and enjoyment of contemporary gaming and entertainment. Happy Holidays!
