Start your adventure on the Delaware River at Glen Foerd,
a National Historic Landmark built in 1850 and situated on an 18-acre estate
overlooking the scenic Delaware River. A guided tour of the early 18th-century
mansion is included. This grand mansion is fully furnished and includes an
art gallery with an eclectic collection of paintings and objects of art,
elaborate stained glass skylights, Haskell pipe organ, ornamental plaster
ceilings and rathskeller. Next explore the magnificent river front grounds
and formal gardens on a self-guided tour. Also, visit the one-hundred
year old carriage house which was a gathering place for equestrians and
enthusiasts. The carriage house was originally built as a working stables,
housing ponies, horses and horse-drawn carriages, and later served as a garage
for the owners touring cars and chauffeured limousines. After our tour enjoy a
tasty selection of appetizers served in the sumptuous dining room. Later
we depart for the Moshulu, the world’s oldest and largest four-masted
tall ship, for a truly memorable dining experience. With its majestic masts
rising almost 200 feet above the Delaware River, the lavishly restored Moshulu
has become a Philadelphia landmark, and the city’s premier waterfront dining
destination. Converted into a floating restaurant, the Moshulu is permanently
dock at Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing. Relax and enjoy the fellowship of friends
old and new as you are served a delicious luncheon in the unique
atmosphere of the ships Orchid Room. Please provide a meal choice when
