Come aboard the “Chelsea Lane Tyler” for a
delightful cruise across the Tangier Sound to Smith Island, and discover

to bring your binoculars. As the boat makes the 12-mile trip out to the
island, see the native wildlife and view some of the most beautiful scenery
the Chesapeake Bay and the Tangier Sound have to offer. Upon our arrival at the
island, we will enjoy a delicious family style luncheon at the Bayside
Inn Restaurant. After lunch leisurely walk around the island, or maybe you
would like to rent a golf cart made for two. As you explore the island’s many
narrow streets, enjoying friendly conversation with the Islanders and learn more
about the land they simply call, “Home”. You can browse at the general store,
peek inside the tiny Post Office, explore the Smith Island Center where you can
discover more about the way of life in this extraordinary community, or simply
stop by a gift shop and pick up something to remember your trip before we cruise
back to the mainland. Fast food stops will be made both en route to Crisfield
and on the return trip home.
