Today’s day trip adventure will include a delightful treat that has been prepared just for you! First we board the Moshulu, the world’s oldest and largest four-masted tall ship, for a truly memorable dining experience. With its majestic masts rising almost 200 feet above the Delaware River, the lavishly restored Moshulu has become a Philadelphia landmark, and the city’s premier waterfront dining destination. Converted into a floating restaurant, the Moshulu is permanently dock at Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing. Relax and enjoy the fellowship of friends old and new as you are served a delicious luncheon in the unique atmosphere of the ships Orchid Room. The meal concludes with a tasty surprise. Not only will the ship feature special decorations to acknowledge the visiting ladies who dress in purple and red, the chef’s will prepare and serve a unique Red Hat dessert! Before departing for home, we conclude our day at Chaddsford Winery where you will be treated to a guided tour of the winemaking and barrel-aging cellars, followed by a tasting of selected Chaddsford wines.
