Christmas at the Victorian Mount Hope Mansion, as actors portraying Charles
Dickens and other characters from his timeless novels and short stories, welcome
you to a joyous Holiday celebration of a bygone era. From the fireplace mantles
to stately pillars the Mansion surrounds you with a bounty of 19th Century
Victorian yuletide decorations. Enjoy pipinghot samples of famous
Holiday Wine, and explore the Mansion where each of the first floor rooms
has been turned into an intimate theatre. As you walk from room to room, you
are treated to the sound of holiday carolers, hear heartfelt readings of some of
Dickens’ treasured tales, and you can simply delight in recalling the wonder of
holidays past. A delicious lunch is included at the Swashbuckler Brew
Pub & Eatery. Please provide a meal choice when making your
reservations. Your choices are Chicken Marsala or Baked Haddock.
