The setting is a funeral parlor in which an
elected official who was running for office is literally lying in state. His
family and associates gather around the casket and determine that although he
has passed away he will continue running for office. The collection of
characters is remarkable and never has a wake provided more complications and
laughter. Makes no difference if one is a Red or Blue State, this fast-moving
and zany comedy is white hot. A delicious family style luncheon (baked
ham and roast turkey), is included at Hickory Bridge Farm.
