“Daniel and the Lions’ Den”
Strasburg, PA
Kings used Daniel to decipher their fates.
While God used Daniel to shape the fate of an entire people. After centuries of
holiness, sin has overwhelmed Jerusalem when King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon
ravages the city and enslaves the Hebrew people. Beginning in boyhood, Daniel
spends many years as a slave, but when he accurately interprets the king’s
disturbing dream, he is given a position of authority. Soon, however, the dying
Nebuchadnezzar’s son Nebonidus seizes power, and the Hebrews are treated more
harshly - and harsher still after Nebonidus’ blasphemous son eventually takes
the throne. As the now-elderly Daniel decodes a mysterious message to the new
king, the Persian army storms Babylon. Experience Daniel’s harrowing
condemnation to the lions’ den. Discover the fate of the Hebrews and their
beloved Jerusalem. And, with Daniel, witness the fleeting nature of the
kingdoms of earth, and the enduring power of the kingdom of God. A
traditional family style dinner is included at Hershey Farm Restaurant.
